Hey Ron - another nice reaction. As mentioned, this is their newest official release, hence the studio audio. The actual concert footage came from March 31, 2024 and they released this video at midnight April 5 (tied into the eclipse of course). Pretty quick turnaround on the awesome visuals. As for the guitar, can see your point at the beginning (though I do like it) and to your point the combined sound is massive when Ale comes in with her bass! That said, I think nearly everyone would agree, the guitar sure sounded tremendous at the end!

Dany's guitar is a baritone Fender. Allows for lower tuning and thicker strings.

This is a newer song and Dany was playing a baritone Fender Strat which is why it was so low and nasty

No doubt the release was timed with the eclipse. Amazing how the team was able to edit the video footage and sync with the studio audio in less than a week - it's a great looking video with the different angles, drones, fisheye effects, etc. And don't forget the pyro, managed by their manager Rudy! 🔥 The guitar distortion is a bit extreme, but like you said, once the band kicks in it's cool. And that chorus vocal, OMG.

Apologies if someone else mentioned it, didn't see anything in a quick scan. I've read elsewhere that the noise from the jets and background from bands on other stages at the festival made for less than desirable audio. The studio merge is awesome, and showcases how closely they perform live vs studio. I really like this release.

Detuned guitars........

Big Muff Fuzz pedal on the Baritone guitar and bass. Fuzz has many flavors, i.e. dark and farty to more cutting like angry bees. They made a choice to have the sound explode, so they went with weak in the mix at first. Live in EU, it doesn't explode to that full thick tone when the bass comes in. Seems like they didn't use any extra tracks to fatten things up.
